Palmer Legal Staffing observes six holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Candidates are eligible for holiday pay once they have worked 1,000 hours or more within a one-year period from the holiday date and work the full week before and after the holiday.
Candidates are eligible for PTO pay after they have worked 1,500 hours within a one-year period. PTO pay is 35 hours per week at your average hourly rate.
DC Commuter Benefit Ordinance
Palmer Legal Staffing participates in the DC employee-paid pre-tax transportation benefits program.
Referral Bonus Program
All Palmer Legal Staffing employees will be rewarded for referrals.
The reward system for temporary employees who you refer is as follows: $100 after a referred employee works 80 hours
The reward system for direct hire employees who you refer is as follows: $250 after guarantee period is completed

Please remember to have the assignment’s supervisor sign your timesheet before you leave either the last day of the workweek or the last day of the assignment, whichever comes first.
Completed and signed timesheets should be emailed to Robin Beckwith at Rbeckwith@palmer-staffing.com by noon the following Monday. In addition, all questions or concerns about payment should be directed to Robin at that email.
Please remember that Palmer Staffing Services policy is that you record time daily and accurate to the minute. When totaling a day’s work, and only when totaling a day’s work, round to the nearest quarter-hour.
Palmer Legal Staffing offers direct deposit banking. Payroll is processed on Monday and payment is guaranteed by Thursday.
